Fannon Group’s environment-friendly commitment.
Fannon Group has always put environmental responsibility at the core of everything we do. This could not be more evident in our recent works with RedFan Developments, who are currently building some of the most environmentally friendly homes in the UK.
RedFan Developments ‘aim to deliver executive environmentally friendly homes’. Their newest development in Bobbing, Sittingbourne, will consist of 5 (4 & 5 bedrooms) homes, which aim to achieve an A-rated EPC rating.
To achieve such a rating, the homes are being built using NUDURA Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF). Building with Insulating Concrete Formwork allows homes to be built more energy efficient and environmentally friendly, providing Performance Values up to R-50 resulting in energy savings of up to 70%, when compared to traditional wood building methods.
