Fannon Group is providing an exterior green wall system for the residential development at Greenwich Creekside. As part of the extensive external works being carried out on the project, a modular green wall will be included to give the development a modern and environmentally friendly design.
What is an Exterior Green Wall?
A green wall is a wall partially or completely covered with greenery that includes a growing medium, such as soil, water or a substrate. Most green walls include an integrated water delivery system. ‘Unlike green facades (e.g Ivy Walls) exterior green walls or living walls are self-sufficient gardens that are attached to the exterior of a building and receive water and nutrients from within the vertical support instead of from the ground.’ – Green Over Grey
